Lets look at some Pros and Cons

- Wordpress ecosystem is vibrant with plenty of Themes, Plugins, Documentation and support
Blogger's ecosystem is catching up, there has not been much development in terms of building      useful professional grade widgets. Templates are plenty!

- Self-hosted Wordpress involves hosting expenses. You pay for the webspace you need
Blogger is free, Google provides free hosting and you dont have to worry about the speed, performance and space and bandwidth.

With that said, lets look at how to move your blog from Wordpress to Blogger. Its a 3 step process.

Export your existing Wordpress blog

1) Login to your Wordpress Dashboard
2) Go to Tools > Export > Select All > Click on Download or Export. You should get a prompt to download or file is downloaded automatically depending on what browser you are using.

The URL structure of Posts, Pages, Images and all content is different for Wordpress and Blogger. We would have to modify the Image URLs to make sure that all the images are intact when you import the blog into Blogger.

If you just move your blog from wordpress to blogger without modifying the Image URLs, the images will not display in any posts or pages after you import into Blogger. Follow below steps to modify the exported .XML file.

Thats the link to the folder you created
8) If you have subfolders under the orginal folder you created, you can reference with the actual        names of it. For example, if 'Foo' folder has 'Bar' folder, you just suffix 'Bar' to the link like below
https://www.googledrive.com/host/0B2XXXXxSXXXXlXXVHZXXXXVHXX/bar
 9) Open the .XML file in notepad or any text editor which was downloaded from Wordpress. Search for http://www.your-blogname.com/wp-content/uploads/ and replace it with the link you generated in Step # 8.
For example - Marked here is what i searched and replaced.
